What Is Business Broadband?
Fixed Wireless Business Class broadband internet services are delivered by terrestrial fixed wireless (not satellite) point to multi-point technologies. This service is not the same as a cellular based service and should not be confused with geosynchronous satellite (which has to travel round trip through nearly 45,000 miles of the earth’s atmosphere with latency of over 500ms) or Low Earth Orbit satellite service. Business Class bandwidth ranges from 15x3mbps to 100x20mbps (depending on the local infrastructure). Latency is normally under 70ms round trip to common places on the internet. This service does not have any data caps on its usage (it is unlimited and never throttled).
